Dr. Alvaro Wagner Rodrigues Salles
Obtained his DDS degree at the University of Santo Amaro, Brazil in 1988. He finished his Master of Science program in Pathophysiology with focus in Temporomandibular Disorders in 2001 at University of Santos, Brazil and obtained the specialist title in Functional Orthopedics in 2003. He concluded his PhD in 2006 at University of São Paulo with interest on evaluation of pulpar blood flow during the orthodontic movement. In 2009 Dr Salles moved to Winnipeg and started lecturing at University of Manitoba. In 2017 he finished his Master of Science in Orthodontics at University of Manitoba and successfully passed in his board exam at The Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr Salles has been lecturing in South America, Europe, Asia , USA and Canada. In addition he published peer review articles in the past years.
Dr. Reynaldo Todescan Jr.
Obtained his DDS degree at the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil and obtained a MSc from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor , USA. He concluded his PhD and specialty in Prosthodontics in 1991 at the University of Toronto, and worked in that institution participating in clinical trials involving dental implants. Dr Todescan did a residency in Dental Sleep Medicine in the University of California (UCLA – USA) in 2016. He has joined Dr Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba in 2011 and is currently the Head of Division of Temporomandibular Disorders, Orofacial Pain and Dental Sleep
Medicine.
Dr. Adriana Salles
We have the pleasure to announce that Dr. Adriana Salles will be joining Woodhaven Dental Clinic, as a Pediatric Dentistry Division called TOPSMILES.
Dr. Salles has been practicing Pediatric Dentistry for more than 20 years. We will be offering Inhalation Sedation and General Anesthesia. She has a huge experience with medically compromised patients and kids with different abilities.
Adriana was an Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba for 5 years, training undergrad and graduate students. We are looking forward to be part of your patient`s care.
